Vous l’avez demandé, la voici.  La première boutique Role Model.  En fait, c’est une boutique-entrepôt.  Je m’explique.  À même les locaux du centre de distribution, nous avons amménagé une boutique au 2ième étage.  Vous y trouverez la collection complète de ROLE MODEL CLOTHING, des exclusivités, des primeurs ainsi que les vêtements des artistes de la famille ROLE MODEL.

Vous y trouverez également des spéciaux et promotions exclusifs à la boutique.  Faites attention, la boutique est bien cachée dans le parc industriel de Laval, au nord de l’autoroute 440 et à l’est de l’autoroute 15 nord.  Venez nous voir et discuter avec les membres de l’équipe ROLE MODEL.  Qui sait sur qui vous pourriez tomber!

What’s up RM people!!!!

I want to start by thanking everybody for all your great comments… keep on sending your ideas! These past two weeks have been crazy for me, trying to get everything done on time. It’s RUSH season!!! I might not be able to write every week like I had plan but don’t worry I’ll make up for it : P

There has been a lot of requests for girl stuff… so let’s make an exception… this week I’ll show you two sneak peeks… ; ) ENJOY!!!!

With only a few days back home, you know that my first stop was… I had to go see my mom. But my SECOND stop was the RM Office. We just received a new round of samples and the stuff is looking really cool. My personal favorite is this new lined Tee. Looks like just a stripped tee from far, but from up close is RM’s attention to detail. Add to that the fake pocket and you can’t deny this t-shirt is dope. I wanted to steal it, but it’s our only sample so for now I can only share these pictures. Click to see bigger.

Hello RM fans,

Let me introduce myself… I’m the Head Fashion Designer here at RM, not really the only girl but let’s just say we are a minority…! I’m not complaining, boys are fun to work with… and our team ROCKS! So who ever wants to talk about girly stuff I’m totally ok with that : ) 

My job here is pretty huge. As the Head Fashion Designer I have to do a lot of research. I usually look at the latest news in the world fashion, music, environment, architecture, technology… mostly anything that can inspire me… to be able to create the coolest stuff for you. Every season (always a year or so in advance) I travel, look at trend sites, catwalks, magazines and stores worldwide to collect information that can be useful. When research is over, I put all the ideas together and get my team started with the designs. We go from boys to accessories to girls until we are completely satisfied. This is where MY fun begins… colors, fabrics and embellishments… I have to decide what goes where, with what fabric and in which color. When this is over, the “fit” team starts.  We have to figure the fit for each style in the collection. Then, it’s sample time!. Since I’m a perfectionist an I only want the BEST for you guys, we can go up to four samples before approving it for production. Finally all is left for me to do is to start over with the following season. Ouff!!!! It might be a lot but I just love it! Trust me it’s totally worth it at the end… when you see people wearing your clothes on the streets.

I hope once a week to give you little sneak peeks of MY IDEAS OR THE NEW STUFF ON THE WAY… I would like you to give me your opinion. I’m fully open to your comments or ideas. Who knows you might see some of your ideas in a future collection!!!!

A wonderful initiative that we are proud to support:

“This scholarship is named after our son, Nick, who died in August 2006 from leukemia. He loved music and playing the guitar. Simple Plan and the Role Model clothing line were his absolute favorites and for the last year of his life he wore nothing but Role Model shirts. Nick was a positive role model to so many people and the scholarship hopes to promote that same spirit in other teens.”

This year, on May 28th, the scholarship has been awarded to Faith Moore. Role Model Clothing would like to congratulate her for the accomplishment.
